Partnering with God

When you invite God to partner with you in the marketplace, there is no end to the amazing things He (and you) can do. As you plant the seeds of working hard, maintaining your integrity, and let it be known that you are a Christian, you can be assured that He will be busy preparing a bountiful harvest for your reaping!

God highlighted me and my talents and I was blessed with His favor to be promoted over and again into positions that normally require degrees and years of training- neither of which I had…yet I flourished in every position.

The most rewarding piece was to have unbelievers come to me asking for support and guidance with relational challenges, work concerns, etc and I was able to encourage them with the peace that only the Lord can provide.

In one particular incident I had a co worker run through the building to find me after receiving a phone call that his Mother was passing away. He barely knew me but had seen scriptures on my cube wall during a work conversation. He quickly explained about the call and asked if I would pray that he could get there before she would pass away, that she could go in her sleep, and that there would be peace with his aunts and uncles who normally could not be in the same room together. I told him that I would. He returned a month later letting me know that she had indeed passed in her sleep peacefully and that the family had made amends over issues that had been going on for decades. He was quitting his job and moving to be closer to them. He told me that he knew my prayer worked and he now believed there really was a God.
